Why Akathleptos?

Why Akathleptos? Because it means Uncontainable. God is infinite. Hence, the whole universe cannot contain Him. The term also refers to the incomprehensibility of God. No man can know everything about God. We can know Him personally but not exhaustively, not even in Heaven.

Why Patmos? Because the church is increasingly marginalized and exiled from the culture.

Why Pen-Names? So the focus is on the words and not who wrote them. We prefer to let what we say stand on its own merit. There is precedent in church history for this - i.e., the elusive identity of Ambrosiaster who wrote in the 4th century A.D.

“Truth is so obscured nowadays, and lies so well established, that unless we love the truth we shall never recognize it." Blaise Pascal

The Teen Who Dies If He Falls Asleep

I'm sure many pro-abortion advocates would have said at his birth that he is the perfect justification for abortion. Doctors gave him just 6 weeks to live after birth. And while no doubt, eugenics advocates would quickly write him off, his remarkable ability to construct the most intricate and complex legos is far above the ability of the overwhelming vast majority of "normal" people.

Below is yet another example of how there are no "useless" people. His adopted mother is a powerful example of true mothering. As the narrator asks, "Beyond explanation?" No. The sovereignty of God.

It is horrifying to think how many "special" people like these two have been killed in the name of "compassion" and "mercy". God help a culture that is so twisted in its' values that we butcher everyday special small ones like this in the womb.
