Why Akathleptos?

Why Akathleptos? Because it means Uncontainable. God is infinite. Hence, the whole universe cannot contain Him. The term also refers to the incomprehensibility of God. No man can know everything about God. We can know Him personally but not exhaustively, not even in Heaven.

Why Patmos? Because the church is increasingly marginalized and exiled from the culture.

Why Pen-Names? So the focus is on the words and not who wrote them. We prefer to let what we say stand on its own merit. There is precedent in church history for this - i.e., the elusive identity of Ambrosiaster who wrote in the 4th century A.D.

“Truth is so obscured nowadays, and lies so well established, that unless we love the truth we shall never recognize it." Blaise Pascal

Judge Jeanine Pirro Warns Of Dire Future For U.S. Evangelicals

Jeanine Ferris Pirro is a former prosecutor, judge, and elected official from the state of New York, and currently a legal analyst  In a speech at the NRB International Media Convention, held in Nashville, Tenn., Judge Pirro warned freedoms for evangelicals are in danger. Speaking to a capacity crowd on Tuesday night, she said,

“Although it seems that the protections that we have in the Constitution are protections that no one can take away from us, I want to tell you that they’re already being taken away. The irony of today’s liberalism that is accepting of anything and everything is that it is sanctioning discrimination against Christians.”

She warned the U.S. is now seeing a “chipping away of that Constitutional right,” and that evangelical Christians stand the chance of losing their right to openly address the issues of faith they are most passionate about.

Story is here.
