Why Akathleptos?

Why Akathleptos? Because it means Uncontainable. God is infinite. Hence, the whole universe cannot contain Him. The term also refers to the incomprehensibility of God. No man can know everything about God. We can know Him personally but not exhaustively, not even in Heaven.

Why Patmos? Because the church is increasingly marginalized and exiled from the culture.

Why Pen-Names? So the focus is on the words and not who wrote them. We prefer to let what we say stand on its own merit. There is precedent in church history for this - i.e., the elusive identity of Ambrosiaster who wrote in the 4th century A.D.

“Truth is so obscured nowadays, and lies so well established, that unless we love the truth we shall never recognize it." Blaise Pascal

You Will Be Assimilated; Resistance Is Futile

Watch the professional documentary above in entirety.

Think the government knows what's best for your kids? Think again. Quoting from the Common Core publication "National Sexuality Education Standards K-12" found here, the curriculum for kids includes the following topics: “Rim Jobs”, the “Dutch Steamboat”, the “Dirty Sanchez”, the “Lesbian Delight”, the “Man Pile”, “Reverse Fraking”, “Circle Jerks”, or the “Cleveland Steamer”. 4th and 5th grade students are going to be taught such things as oral sex, teabagging, sodomy, voyeurism, homosexuality and other topics any decent parent should object to being taught to any 12 year-old.

Shocked? If not, you should be.

Under the CC curriculum by the time a child enters high school they would be tested such topics as:
  • Bisexuality
  • Transgenderism
  • Bondage
  • Exhibitionism
  • Pedophilia
  • Zoophilia, or Bestiality
  • Frotteurism
  • Klismaphilia
  • Necrophilia
  • Partialism
  • Sexual Sadism
  • Telephone Scatologia
  • Urophilia
  • Scat

John Stossel is not approaching this issue from the theological perspective which certainly has valid concerns with Common Core. While I regard the theological concerns as far more important, Stossel accurately highlights the ineptitude of the government Educrats on basic math; that alone should be sufficient cause to seriously consider removing children from any public education system that teaches Common Core into either homeschooling or private education.

William Buckley famously said that he'd rather be governed by the first 100 names in the telephone directory than 100 of the Harvard faculty - meaning the common man has more common sense than Harvard faculty. Some 3000 years ago, the prophet Samuel warned the nation of Israel who was then clamoring for civil government in lieu of the theocracy, what was in store:  the overreach and ever-increasing demands of civil government upon the populace.

Common core?  Quoting the Borg, "You Will Be Assimilated; Resistance Is Futile."
